Stardock

Greetings! This level 4 adventure is 90%+ done. Now I need playtester feedback--you! This is a nordic(ish) flavored adventure set in the mountains, intended for use with Shadowdark, but compatible with most OSR games. It will likely take a couple sessions, and there is a short feedback form at the end. Stardock

The cloud giants Jorunner and his wife Gerda have watched over Ravndal Valley for generations. They send rain to fall upon the green things of the valley. The farmers have always held an annual festival in honor of the giants and sacrificed some of their harvest to show their gratitude.

It has been many generations of human lives since a family member of the giants has died, but when they do, the rain stops. This has ever been the sign to the elders of Aptot that the giants require a great sacrifice to accompany the deceased in the afterlife in order to restore the rain.

Jorunnr has been found, gored to death by a great boar. Now his spirit demands sacrifice. Gerda has stopped the rain. The farmers hold their festival, and the elders seek talented individuals as the path to the clouds is difficult. The characters must summit the great mountain Stardock, satisfy tradition and restore the rain.
